Hi friends! My name is Oliver. My siblings and I were dumped on a footpath but fate brought us to the right place- and now I am looking for my happy furever after!
My foster carer has worked hard to help me gain weight and begin to overcome my fear of humans. I get along with other dogs and my human sibling who is a 7yr old child. I'm an energetic pup who's still working on my house training, but I'm eager to please and pick things up quickly. I am used to a part-time work household. I currently spend most of my time outside as it's where I am most comfortable. I am slowly adjusting to coming inside, but with so many Aussie rentals not allowing inside animals, I may suit someone who can only have an outside dog, as that's what I'm most used to anyway. You'd just need to ensure I had adequate shelter in the heat, cold, rain and mozzies- and of course, spend time with me outside. I’m not a lawn ornament!
Though I’m a happy and playful pup now, my past hasn’t been easy. I came into care after being starved and mistreated, which has left me a little unsure of new people at first. But with the care and patience of my foster family, I’m learning to trust again. I warm up quickly once I feel safe and loved. Because of what I've been through, I need an adopter who is patient, confident, and willing to help me continue building my trust in humans. With the right love and understanding, I know I’ll thrive in a home that gives me the time and care I need to feel secure. Another dog in the home would also be great for companionship and reassurance.
I would love to go on adventures with you 3-4 times a week—running, sniffing, rolling around, and going for daily walks or runs! Myself and my siblings are a mixed breed; I’m a Staffy x for sure, quite small yet, and so I’ll likely grow to be a medium-large size, probably around 22-25kg.
I’d do best in a yard with a 5ft fence or higher, just to make sure I’m not tempted to wander as I grow. So far, I haven’t made any attempts to leave the yard however. As a young dog, those early weeks of adoption will be key for getting my routine and training down!
If you're ready to offer me that patient, loving home, I promise I’ll reward you with loyalty and affection, and lots of snuggles. If you’ve read this far, there’s a reason- maybe I’m the one for you! Apply to adopt me now, and let’s start our adventure together!
Ps- unsure about my name? Well, feel free to change it if you adopt me (most dogs learn new names fast)

NEED TRANSPORT?
1. Apply to adopt per the above process.
2. Get quotes and select your desired transporter. We recommend Aeropets, Jetpets, and Dogtainers. Contact us for weights, height etc where needed. We also recommend Pet Waggin pet transport who can assist with road transport.
3. Message or email us to say you have applied and that you will require transport. Tell us which company and a potential departure date from that pet's nearest airport or meet point.
4. If your application is successful, we will lock in a date with you, coordinate any required 'fit to fly' certifications, a food delivery to your home, and appropriate training to make your new pet as comfortable on transport as possible.
5. All adoption contracts, adoption fees, and photo ID must be submitted to us via email before animal boards transport.
We will take into consideration the pet's ability to travel safely and comfortably before agreeing to send them on transport, and expect a high level of care from whatever company is engaged to move the animal.
