About Rosie
Introducing the gorgeous and lovely Rosie!
Rosie is a 1 year and 1 month old gorgeous Maltese x Bichon Frise
Rosie has come into care from a private surrender thru no fault of her own.
My foster mum says I am one of the happiest dogs we have ever seen come into care, and I have to admit I just love life, I love people, l love other dogs, I love everyone!
While i absolutely love life and will bring you endless joy, love and laughter when i'm settled and comfy in your home - I can still be timid meeting new people so I will ask that you give me some time but also keep helping me build my confidence.
I absolutely would love another dog to live with and play with and snuggle with and you know just be with!
I currently live with a couple of small breeds dog and I absolutely love to play chase, play fetch a ball or soft toy when thrown. I also love tug of war with my foster siblings. I also love to do a zoomie and can really make you smile and laugh when i do!
I asked my foster mum how she would describe me............... she said very loving and some one who likes to be close to you and giving you all my love.
I have lived with some children for a bit and I didn't mind them at all - lots of cuddles and attention on me!!!
I love any type of food – and my foster mum sayis I'm very treat motivated but also have lovely manners and have great recall.
My ideal home will be with someone who is home more often than not or who works from home – I’m still young so I would like to be a part of my families’ lives. I would love to sleep with a human but at the moment do sleep on a dog bed (with my fur friend) but would be happy to snuggle with you on the bed.
I am toilet trained and use the doggy door at my foster carers home but may have a few accidents at my new home - I will try really hard to make you proud of me.
I am cat friendly but may try and get them to play games with me but that's just cause I think everyone is a friend.
I enjoy going for a walk but do still need some lead training but you know I can also be picked up and carried when I'm tired - and my foster mum says that what i lack in confidence meeting humans i make up for when walking saying hello to other dogs as i see them!
I have a coat that does require regular grooming so please make sure that you do remember that it’s a life time of grooming.
So if you want to open your home up to some laughs, fun, love and some craziness - please apply!

Once an adoption enquiry is completed our admin team will assess the application and if successful we will arrange for a meet and greet to be completed. We may also request photos of your yard for consideration of your application. Please note that we will do no more than 3 meet and greets per dog.
Approved applicants will be contacted to arrange a time for a meet & greet via email. You must bring your current dog along to the meeting if you are meeting another dog/puppy, this is to ensure they get along before commencing adoption - proof of your dogs up-to-date vaccination is required before any meet and greet is arranged.
Our adoption fee must be cleared in our bank account before any animal is available for pick up. Please note we bank with ANZ - any other bank may take 48 hours to process the monies.
Paw Prints Canine Rescue has a 10 day trial period – this basically means that if for any reason the adoption does not work out and the dog needs to be returned to us, the adoption fee minus an admin fee (minimum is $250) will be returned to the adoptees via bank transfer within 7 working days.
Please note that if an interstate adoption needs to be returned or regional adoption all transport cost with be paid by the adopter.
Please also note while this can be a very exciting time for everyone, it can also be an overwhelming time for dogs and we ask that you do try and allow your new family member to settle in their new home and adjust
INTERSTATE ADOPTIONS **
Any transport costs are to be paid by the adopting family, however we can assist you in helping with transport to airports etc.
** Please note some of our dogs are not available for interstate adoption
AFTER THE TRIAL PERIOD
After the 10 day trial period is completed Paw Prints Canine will send out all relevant paperwork for your new furbaby via email including the transfer of microchip form.
