Hi there! I’m Callie, a spirited young Lab X with a heart full of love and big feelings about life.

I will need an experienced owner who will understand that I can be quite the bundle of energy, especially when I meet new people and doggies. I thrive on mental and physical activities, so I’ll need someone who can keep up with my playful spirit and help me learn how to regulate my excitement. 

I can be a little shy around unfamiliar people at first, so it’s important that I meet all family members gradually. I promise I warm up once I feel comfortable, and I appreciate gentle handling while I get to know everyone and with lots of yummy treats! When it comes to other dogs, I get a bit overexcited if they barks at me first, but I really do love making new friends! If you help me meet new dogs in a calm manner, I’ll show you my best social side!

I’d love it if you could be home more often when I first arrive in your home; it’ll help me adjust to my new surroundings and get settled in. With your guidance, I can learn to decompress and enjoy the world around me.
