Hi, I’m Pudge—a big, wrinkly softie with a serious face and an even bigger heart. At 2 years old, I’m a Dogue de Bordeaux, a noble French breed known for loyalty, strength, and deep bonds with our people. While we were once protectors and hunters, I’m now just looking for a place to call home—and someone to love with all I’ve got.

Life hasn’t always been kind to me, but I’ve never lost my gentle spirit. I can be a little shy at first, especially around new people or in unfamiliar situations, but once I feel safe, my affectionate, loyal side shines. That’s why I’m searching for a quiet, stable home with an experienced owner who understands my breed and can help me feel secure as I continue to gain confidence.

I need a home with secure outdoor access—specifically, a 6-foot Colourbond fence—so I can relax and explore safely. Apartment living isn’t for me; I’m happiest when I have a yard where I can stretch out, enjoy the fresh air, and keep an eye on my domain.

Because of my high prey drive, I can’t live with small animals like cats, rabbits, birds, or pocket pets. I’m also best suited to a home with dog-confident children over 6 years old who understand how to respect a dog’s space.

I know I won’t be the right fit for everyone, but for the right person—someone with patience, understanding, and a big heart—I’ll be the most devoted companion you could ask for.
