About Zippy
Requirements:
Must meet all family members
Kids (any age)
Inside only
Meet Zippy,
Zippy is an independent, friendly & happy girl who is suitable for all owners! Zippy is very outgoing, smart & confident in herself. A true feline, she is curious, very playful & affectionate She loves to engage with her human friends & eager to show you how clever she is when she plays with her toys. Zippy is fine to live in any household environment too, as she is very adaptable.
Zippy is open to meet kids of any age. She is very social & loves being picked up, carried & cuddled and is an overall very easy-going cat who can handle a lot of attention. She loves all types of affection and being patted & scratched anywhere - she doesn't discriminate!
As we cannot test in this environment, we are unsure how Zippy would go living with dogs. In saying this, she seems curious enough to get to know dogs on a friendly level but this would be up to the discretion of her new owners & up to the dogs personality too.
As for other cats, Zippy will be fine to live with other cats as she is friendly & social but as always we recommend a slow & gradual interaction to existing cats.
Zippy is best to live indoors only. A confident girl like Zippy will surely see her leave the safety of her property. Having her outside puts her at risk of running away, getting lost, injured, or worse. Zippy will happily be an indoor cat & most importantly will be safer being inside, too.
Zippy is known for her high-energy, that's how she got her name! Zippy loves all toys offered to her, but she especially loves small plush toys.
Zippy isn't fussy when it comes to food but may seem a little unsure when new food is offered to her that she hasn't tried before -Zippy is a super clean girl who always uses her litter tray with any fuss!
Staff Comments: Zippy is an active girl, a bouncy kitten. She will play with her water bowl is she is feeling a lil bored... She's a sweet girl who loves attention & will happily roll around in front of you to show you how content your presence makes her feel...

With all animals it’s important to understand that going into a new environment with new people may not be as flawless as we want it to be. It’s important to know that these animals have unknown histories. Most left in the shelter by their owners. The information we receive is from observing the animal’s behaviours & reactions to certain stimuli whilst in our care. Adopted animals can take up to 3 months to properly decompress from post-shelter life & a lot of behaviours & quirks will surface during this time. All that we ask is that their new owners have an open mind & are patient.
So please keep in touch with us after adoption so that we can help you settle your new family member in and address any unexpected behaviours.
