About Pixie
Meet Pixie, the delightful four-and-a-half-year-old Chihuahua with a heart full of love! This little lady may come across as a stimulus barker, but once she gets to know you, she reveals her true, affectionate nature.
Pixie is timid initially, but she just needs a little time and space to warm up. With a few tasty treats and a gentle cuddle, you'll soon see her transform into a loyal and loving companion. Her petite size makes her ideal for cozy apartment living, though she would do well in any environment, provided she has a little patch of sunlight to bask in.
She walks fairly well on a lead and has been around other small-breed dogs with no issues. However, she does have a bit of a mischievous side, showing potential to chase cats. Pixie loves companionship and has demonstrated adaptability in her experiences with other small dogs.
Pixie's ideal day is filled with short walks, gentle hugs, and lots of lap snuggles. She has her own unique take on playtime, engaging with her favorite toys and enjoying the attention of her human companions.
Pixie would blossom best in a home where she can be the center of attention. She might bark at unfamiliar noises, but it doesn’t take long before she feels right at home. A secure home and a patient family who understands her Chihuahua quirks will help Pixie truly shine. If you’re looking for a delicate and charming pup with a spunky spirit, Pixie might just be the canine friend for you!

Adoption details
Our adoption process is easy. You will receive a application for the animals you are interested in. Please full that in and send it back to us.
Even though you may be first to message, this does not always guarantee you will be chosen to adopt. By no means do we run on a "first in, first served basis". We aim to ensure that our animals are adopted into the most suitable home for them and the new family.
With all our animals, we go on what our vet has told us and what we believe the breed and age to be. We never guarantee the breed or age but take the best educated guess.
Please note: Our shelter is located in the Snowy Mountains. We are a 5 hour drive from Sydney and Melbourne and 2 to 3 hours from Canberra.
