About Billy Boy
Meet Billy Boy, an exuberant two-year-old Kelpie cross (we think possibly Shepherd) whose zest for life is truly unparalleled. He's a lively companion bursting with energy and loves to play, making him an ideal match for an active person or family ready for a fun-loving furry friend. Enthusiastic and excitable, Billy Boy tends to greet you with joyful leaps, showcasing his boundless affection and readiness for interaction.
This spirited chap thrives on physical activity and mental stimulation, needing plenty of exercises to channel his energy. Billy Boy walks somewhat well on a lead but will benefit from ongoing training to finetune his manners and make walks more enjoyable for both dog and owner. With training and guidance, he's sure to blossom into the well-mannered companion you desire.
Billy Boy is a quick learner and already knows how to sit nicely for pats and treats, which he adores. He interacts well with other dogs, making him a great future park companion, but being a Kelpie cross, he'll likely want to chase cats. Therefore, a home without feline friends would be best for him.
For those who have the time and commitment to embark on this training journey with him, Billy Boy promises endless affection and entertaining company. If you're up for the rewarding adventure of adopting an energetic, playful pup, Billy Boy could be exactly who you’re looking for. He’s eagerly waiting to join a home that’s as active and spirited as he is!
Medical notes
Mild interdigital dermatitis on all feet. Monitor for pruritis (itch) and any progression. Mild overbite noted. Not likely to cause any issue.

Adoption details
Our adoption process is easy. You will receive a application for the animals you are interested in. Please full that in and send it back to us.
Even though you may be first to message, this does not always guarantee you will be chosen to adopt. By no means do we run on a "first in, first served basis". We aim to ensure that our animals are adopted into the most suitable home for them and the new family.
With all our animals, we go on what our vet has told us and what we believe the breed and age to be. We never guarantee the breed or age but take the best educated guess.
Please note: Our shelter is located in the Snowy Mountains. We are a 5 hour drive from Sydney and Melbourne and 2 to 3 hours from Canberra.
