This loveable heeler pup broke out of the pound and landed on her paws! But after 3 months, she’s STILL looking for her forever family.
Ahhhh biscuits.
Chilli hasn’t quite found her permanent home. Bandit has and she’s stoked for him, but she’s still searching for her Bluey or Bingo or beautiful family of her own to love. She knows you’re never too big to cuddle, and she’s hoping to be considered amongst all the little puppies available too.
Chilli is a playful and fun loving 10-month-old cattle dog cross, and is as friendly as they come. She gets along fabulously with kids, other dogs, and even cats! Chilli loves to rough and tumble at the park, whether if it’s with a staffy, a kelpie, or a Pomeranian, Chilli is up for a wrestle! Pomeranians are a small but hardy breed, and they have to be to meet Chilli’s play standards!
Chilli’s bush wee skills are on point and she never has accidents in the home. She loves to go for a morning walk or run, then is happy to chill at home while her humans head off to work.
Another outing Chilli enjoys is when someone proclaims “We’re going to hammer barn!” She loves a charity snag and is learning to love a ride in the trolley. Just remember, if you hit a flamingo you’ve gone too far.
Chilli is a gem at learning new tricks and she thrives on praise and treats. She already knows sit, lie down, shake paws, on your bed, up, off, wait and go. She’s learning new skills all the time and her praise phrase is “whackadoo!” Chilli is eager to learn and eager to please. She would thrive in a home that continues her training with patience and love.
Chilli would love a home with a couple or family that loves adventure, to get out amongst it! She’d love to be given the opportunity to be a lifetime companion and to grow into her alter ego of old granny Madge.

Adoption details
ADOPTION PROCESS:
1. An Adoption enquiry should be made via
https://form.jotform.com/shellys.place.rescue/adoption-enquiry
2. Once your application has been received, one of our volunteers will contact you for a phone interview. This is to determine whether one of our cats or kittens will be a good fit for your home. We all want long-term success in placing rescue animals, so finding the best fit for the animal AND the family is very important.
3. 'Meet & Greet' with the animal and their carer will then take place if the application is approved.
4. A property check will take place via a video. Once this has been successfully completed, adoption paperwork finalised and the adoption donation processed, the pet can be collected from foster care.
5. A 14 day settling-in period commences once the animal has been collected from foster care.
6. Adoption is finalised after 14 days. Paperwork/records will be included in an adoption pack.
7. All animals will be rehomed desexed, 1st vaccinated, microchipped and treated monthly for fleas and intestinal worms. Once the adoption is finalised, the new owners are responsible for all vaccinations and preventative treatments.
