Meet Rufus, a sweet and sensitive young man seeking a calm and loving forever home. While he can be anxious in new environments, Rufus is incredibly affectionate and loves to stay close to his humans.

To help build his confidence, we recommend calming enrichment like licky mats and snuffle mats, avoiding noisy toys at first. Rufus is still working on his lead skills, so quiet walks are best. He may also benefit from crate training for comfort when alone.

Rufus is open to meeting the right family, and it's important to introduce him to any other dogs at the time of adoption. He's social and playful but would thrive with a calm, confident dog friend to guide him.
