About Wally
Please meet our Wally who, at almost 6 kgs, is a gentle, loveable fellow with an easy-going, casual disposition. He has a thick ginger coat, beautiful blue-green eyes and cute black dots on his nose. As Wally has just turned 7 years of age, with good care from his new human, he could be needing a home for another 7 years at least. Please remember this requirement if you are considering his adoption.
CARE - Wally is in good health and with loving care from his new human and a nutritious diet, he has many wonderful years ahead of him. A nutritious diet is one with high-quality dry biscuits, delicious servings of wet food and many bowls of fresh, cool water to maintain his hydration. Due to his thick, medium-length coat it would be best to select hairball dry biscuits that would help prevent "oopsies" on the carpet. Regular visits to his vet are also essential for maintaining his health.
HOME - due to his quiet nature and age, Wally would benefit from a "launch room" and a calm, mature home would suit him best. Any children would be older ones (over 12 years of age), who would respect his needs. As Wally has not had any past experiences with other cats or dogs, it is recommended that he be the only fur-baby in the household.
INSIDE LIFESTYLE - an indoor lifestyle for Wally is a must as outside isn't a safe place for a cat due to there being many dangers that will shorten his life. Most cats have an instinct to kill wildlife and it's necessary for their responsible cat guardians to protect our birds, lizards etc from them. The RSPCA strongly recommends that cats live inside, and for further ideas, please refer to this website:- https://safeandhappycats.com.au.
Inside his home, a couple of large cat scratchers would give Wally lots of enjoyment, especially if they are placed near a window and also where his human companions would gather. Please come and meet our cool dude. XO His adoption price includes: A FREE 2kg bag of ROYAL CANIN dry food His desexing, microchip and vaccinations Adoption Price: $185 If you think Wally might be the perfect fit for your home, please fill out an adoption application today! www.rspcaqld.org.au/apply-to-adopt
