Meet Scout - The Countryside Adventure Enthusiast Groodle

Scout is a resilient and blossoming Groodle who has transformed from a shut down, shy, and fearful dog into a curious, friendly adventurer! She's faced many challenges in her life, but her bright spirit shines through as she discovers the joys of life, particularly exploring the outdoors.

Scout would thrive in a foster-to-adopt home with people who can be around most of the time, as she's still working on her comfort with being left alone. Our Trainer is helping Scout manage her separation-related distress, and she's on behavioral medication to support her progress. Her forever home would be in a quieter setting, and not an apartment building.

This girl loves the water! Whether it's swimming in dams, lakes, rivers, or pools, Scout is happiest when she can splash around and be in nature.

She would do best in a home with adults or teenagers and without other animals, as she thrives in a calm, people-focused environment.
