About Max
Max is a 6 month old Kelpie boy who is ready to be your best friend!
Max is playful and affectionate and loves a game of tag. Whilst he is great with other dogs, he really just wants to be loved by his own human and be part of the family. You will find Max at your side waiting for pats, or curled up in your lap pretending to be a cat.
In care, Max has been friendly with other dogs, and while quiet and shy when meeting new people he quickly warms up. Max has also been tested with cats, and whilst his instinct is to chase, he is very responsive to training and could cohabitate with a cat in an experienced home and with continued training and supervision.
Max is a young dog and has had a basic introduction to training. He will need a home that will continue to invest the time in training and socialisation. He sleeps well through the night and enjoys having a secure place in his crate or bed.
Max is best suited to an active home where he will be a part of daily family life. Whilst he will enjoy another doggy sibling he will be equally happy being a central part of life with his humans.
If you’re looking for a sweet soul and companionship, Max could be the pup for you!
Max is located in VIC.

Adoption details
To apply to adopt a dog from Dogs4Jobs, you must firstly complete our adoptions application form in full at http://dogs4jobs.com.au/adoption-form/.
You can also write out your answers and email them to dogs@dogs4jobs.com.au
*Please note, due to the high volume of applications received, we will not respond to Petrescue chat messages, or enquiries to adopt a dog. You must complete our adoptions form to be considered for the dog or pup, and we will respond to this form via our email.
We will then request to complete a yard check, or for you to send in photos of your yard showing the fencing, space, shelter and any hazards etc, to confirm it is safe and secure, as well as adequate space for a working breed dog.
Following this, we will then put you in touch with the dog/s foster carer/s that you are interested in, to chat further over the phone, about whether the dog is a good fit for your family, and vice versa. We are searching for the perfect match for each dog and their needs. We offer interstate adoption on all of our dogs.
