About Jasper
Meet Jasper!
Found wandering the streets & with no one coming forward to claim him, Jasper has found himself in shelter looking for a new home.
This guy is an all-round awesome dude. Being a genius level kelpie, he is full of the super smarts! These dogs have brilliant brains, they love learning, working alongside their human counterparts & problem solving. Kelpies are at their happiest when they are with their favourite people doing life together. They do not thrive if left in a backyard to just do their own thing.
Jasper walks beautifully on his daily outings & loves to go exploring on a Sniffari where he gets to absorb all the interesting smells that are out there. He is also mad keen on ball games, bringing the ball back to you each time & dropping it at your feet for another throw.
Having had his morning walk & play, Jasper will settle well in his pen which he keeps pretty spotless. He is toilet trained & not destructive when left alone.
Jasper has been sociable with other dogs at the shelter & could possibly live with a canine companion. A meet & greet prior to adoption would be needed to make sure that they can be comrades.
Secure fencing, a high-quality diet & regular exercise & mental enrichment will keep Jasper happy, healthy & safe.
Whatever you're doing, Jasper will be happy if he can be there with you, sharing in life's ups & downs. We know that he will make a fabulous companion & a life-long best friend.
