About Gertie
Dog friendly.
Cat friendly (if cat is calm and doesn’t run)
Kid friendly (school age and up)
Housetrained
Suffers car sickness
Takes time to adjust to new changes
Gertie loves nothing more than a cuddle and an exciting adventure. With the right family, she will continue to thrive.
Gertie has been working on overcoming car sickness and is improving every week. We recommend not feeding her before car trips to help manage this. She also relies on her crate as a safe space and needs it to feel secure and settled.
This loving girl just wants to be cherished. She will do best in a home where her new family can give her plenty of time to adjust. Gertie would thrive with kids, cats, or even another dog for company, although she loves human attention most of all. The most important thing for Gertie, is that she is not left home alone as she suffers separation anxiety.
If you’re willing to give Gertie the time, love and care she deserves, she will reward you with endless affection and joy.
