Jessie is one of the sweetest little ladies that you'll ever meet in your life. She is very gentle, very affectionate and absolutely loves human company. She will always be in the mood for a cuddle and a scratch.

Jessie comes from a loving household and her previous owners were very sad to see her go. Unfortunately they had gotten away with having one too many cats in their rental property but when the landlord found out they unfortunately were forced to find Jessie a new home. She comes from a household where she was well loved, her owners were very sad to see her go and she has a lot of love to give to a lucky person.

Jessie can be a bit shy in a new environment at first but once she has a chance to settle she will be all purrs and cuddles. She is adapting well to her new foster home, choosing to hang out under the bed when no one is around and then coming out for a pat and a scratch when you walk into the room.

She comes from a household with another cat and a dog so she gets on well with other animals as well as young kids. She actually used to sleep on the teenage daughters bed at night.

Jessie is the type of cat who's a bit more reserved and will not jump and climb all over you but at the same time loves your attention. She loves a pat and a scratch, can be picked up and smooched, will sit with you while you watch your favourite TV show and will sleep on your bed with you if you let her.

Being a tabby she has that very special kind nature and will bring joy to any household wherever she goes.

Jessie is approximately 5 years old and has been desexed, vaccinated, microchipped, flea and worm treated and is available for adoption right meow.

A little about us:

Urban Feline Australia is a newly established cat rescue service, run by one passionate individual with the help of friends and volunteers, that is dedicated to keeping cats out of kill shelters and helping them find loving forever homes. We specialize in helping "surrenders" which are cats that have lived with humans previously but for one reason or another their owners are unfortunately no longer able to look after them. We take your pets into our amazing cat sanctuary where they're treated with love and affection until the right forever home is found for them.

Urban Feline Australia is not a large company with government resources, a large facility and a lot of staff. Our tiny rescue is a one man operation run from the safety of our own home. We do this for the love of animals and our only agenda is to save as many cats as we can. We rely heavily on cooperation from friends, other rescues, our amazing foster carers and the kindness of strangers to survive. Every cent we receive from donations and adoption fees is used to keep our rescue running and cover the cost of food, water, litter, equipment and vet bills for the animals in our care.

We are doing as much as we can right now but our dream is to one day be able to purchase a larger property or facility that would allow us to be able to save the lives of many more cats in need. Perhaps even open a cat cafe so that we can spread our message to a wider audience.
