About Miri
Please only apply for this greyhound if you have:
- A family situation where people are home more often than not
Meet Miri!
Miri is an exceptionally sweet little lady at almost 9 years young searching for her forever home!
She’s always happy to say hello to a new friend – although she is sometimes wary of tall men – and she is calm around young children. Miri will need a part-time/casual or WFH owner or a home where someone is home more often than not.
Miri spends most of the day at ease in her bed – or yours – but she loves her twice-daily walks and car rides! Although she’s otherwise a couch potato, Miri loves the odd adventure strolling through a market or out to a café! She walks well on a lead and whilst she does relish the chance to say hello to a passer-by, she is just as happy to let others pass her by. Her zoomies are occasional and quite brief, but she always gets excited when it’s time for a walk. She is toilet-trained and generally will leave you and your dinner alone if you tell her ‘no’. Miri sleeps well through the night and is quite happy to curl up on her bed, particularly if it’s near yours.
Miri is okay around large dogs – particularly other greyhounds – but would not be suited to a home with small dogs or cats. Miri is content as an ‘inside’ dog and would be okay in a house with a smaller backyard so long as there is still an adequate space for her to stretch her legs and go to the bathroom.
[Note: Under Victorian Law greyhounds must be on-leash at all times in public areas, including in off-leash parks or ovals]
