About Annie
*•*• Annie ~ available for adoption •*•*
Meet Annie, a brave and resilient girl who has endured more than most can imagine. Dumped in a rural area after having recently had puppies, Annie was found extremely emaciated, still lactating and bleeding likely from birthing. But despite her hardships, this strong-willed beautiful girl has never lost her gentle spirit.
Annie is a medium-large sized dog with soulful eyes that tell her story. She’s looking for a forever home where she can finally experience the love and care she truly deserves. Annie is loyal, affectionate, and bonds deeply with those who show her kindness.
She’s been adjusting well in her foster home, where she’s gaining weight and regaining her strength. Annie would thrive in a calm, patient environment where she can continue to heal and grow. She is generally quite lazy and just likes to laze around wherever you are.
Annie has been around children of various ages under ten years and has always been gentle and calm with them.
She has also been in foster care with other large dogs. She is happy to hang out with them and has been slowly interacting with them more and more.
Annie is untested with cats or small animals. We are unsure of Annie’s exact breed but she is a medium - large breed, possibly a Bull Mastiff cross.
If you’re looking for a companion who embodies resilience and heart, Annie is the one. She’s ready to leave her past behind and step into a future filled with love.
**please note** Annie is not quite ready to go to her new home as she is still needing to gain some weight prior to desexing surgery, but we are taking expressions of interest now and conducting meet & greets so that she can go straight to her forever home once surgery has been completed.
