Say hello to Doris!

This super sweet girl came into the shelter very scared and shut down. She lacked confidence and hid in the back of her pen, avoiding everyone she met. But thanks to our caring attendants, Doris has really come out of her shell and is now showing just how much love she has to give.

This lovely girl has taken to receiving love and affection, and her confidence levels have grown by leaps and bounds. She now gets very wriggly when she sees her favourite people, sometimes even jumping to greet them, and is happy to sit with you and soak in all the love. While she can still show reservations about meeting new people and being in unfamiliar environments, we know that with a little patience, Doris's new family will fall in love with her just as much as we did.

Due to Doris's need for a patient family, she would be best suited to an adult-only household, as younger children may be too overwhelming for her until she settles into her new home.
