Oatmeal, the epitome of sweetness. Although she has not always been treated with kindness - and bears the scars to prove it, she holds no grudge and absolutely loves everyone she meets. Our neighbours can’t help but stop us in the street for pats. Oatmeal’s love languages are “Words of Affirmation” and “Physical touch”.

She walks very well on lead - checking in with her person often and is learning to walk past other dogs without putting a paw out of place.
She is house trained, sleeps very well in her crate overnight - earplugs optional, Oatmeal is a four legged snore machine! Forget counting sheep, this pup's soothing symphony will have you drifting off in no time.

Short for an American Staffy, Oatmeal is quite stocky, she can be strong and stubborn. During her time in foster care she has thrived with consistency and encouragement. She is a very quick learner, she knows her basic commands, and has picked up our house rules in only a handful of days - sitting at doorways, waiting for release words, staying on her bed when inside.

Oatmeal is very relaxed when left alone in our backyard, she just sits down and goes to sleep till her people return. She would love to have a doggo friend, but would also be fine as an only dog. Currently she lives with two larger dogs. She loves to play tug and wrestle, her small legs can’t really keep up to the zoomies but she tries! She would suit a dog friend who loves to play or who can advocate for their own space when needed.

Oatmeal has been very sweet to the children she has met, but given her strength, dog savvy kids would be best.

If you are looking for a lovable sidekick, someone to cuddle on the couch, this is your girl. Oatmeal will have you smiling every day.
