Emmett

We have welcomed little Emmett in to our rescue. He is a gorgeous little pup with a load of love to give to the right family. Emmett is a German Shepherd crossed with a Maremma, so he will be large, fluffy, smart and confident.

In the short time he has been with us Emmett has started to show his confidence and his funny behaviours including chasing balls that are bigger than he is, swimming in the paddle pool and running as fast as his little legs will carry him.

Emmett's training will need to continue and we have started some basic training commands with his foster family. As with all puppies, he is all feet and teeth, but happily takes himself out of the game to have a little sleep.

He has commenced crate training and has also started to let our foster family know when he needs to go outside to the toilet.

Emmett will be desexed within the next few months and if adopted prior to then we will ask for a desexing guarantee to be signed.

We would prefer to find a home for Emmett that has another dog, some children he can play with in the garden and hopefully a family member who may be home more often than not so that he is given guidance during these formative years.
