If the answer is yes – then look no further – Meet me - I’m Coco and I'm a 4 year and 4 month old Pug!
My foster mum says I am one of the happiest dogs we have ever seen come into care, and I have to admit I just love life, I love people, l love other dogs, I love everyone!
I will melt your heart while I do my crazy antics.
I came into care from a breeder and now the rescue has done all my vet work to ensure that is never going to happen and its all about me!
I absolutely would love another dog to live with and play with and snuggle with and you know just be with!
I currently live with a younger cavoodle and she lets me snuggle up to her while we snooze, and we love to play and play and then we crash hard on our doggy bed after a long day.
I asked my foster mum how she would describe me............... she said like a whirlwind one minute, and the next a quiet snoozing baby.
I have lived with some children for a bit and I didn't mind them at all - lots of cuddles and attention on me!!!
I love any type of food – I do need reminding of my manners when its around food - my mum calls me a gremlin sometimes but I just tell her its pug enthusiasm - she just doesn't understand my love of food!
My ideal home will be with someone who is home more often than not or who works from home – I’m still young so I would like to be a part of my families’ lives. I would love to sleep with a human but at the moment do sleep on a dog bed or in a crate (with my fur friend) but would be happy to snuggle with you on the bed.
I am toilet trained and use the doggy door, my foster mum says she laughs when she sees me just waltzes in and out all day doing her thing.
I am cat friendly but may try and get them to play games with me but that's just cause I think everyone is a friend.
I do not like the vacuum cleaner at all and you will simply see me running to somewhere else in the house when it's on.
I enjoy going for a walk but do still need some lead training but you know I can also be picked up and carried when I'm tired - obviously you need to be mindful of my breed and the heat.
My foster mum also says I wiggle a lot when putting my harness on but that's just cause I'm so happy that we are off and doing things.
Cause I'm black I don't have the pug hair like the fawn ones - so no happy hair glitter left by me!

Adoption details
Paw Prints Canine Rescue is a non for profit dog rescue located in Southeast Queensland.
All our dogs leave our care with full vet work (up-to-date vaccinated, microchipped, desexed, heart worm and intestinal wormed and flea treated).
Please note - They will not leave for their new homes until they are 12 weeks of age and have been desexed, micro-chipped and vaccinated up to date.
Please note - we are not a pound or have kennels - all our dogs stay in foster carers homes and therefore dogs are not able to be simply viewed - only approved applicants will meet the dogs.

Once an adoption enquiry is completed our admin team will assess the application and if successful we will arrange for a meet and greet to be completed. We may also request photos of your yard for consideration of your application. Please note that we will do no more than 3 meet and greets per dog.
Approved applicants will be contacted to arrange a time for a meet & greet via email. You must bring your current dog along to the meeting if you are meeting another dog/puppy, this is to ensure they get along before commencing adoption - proof of your dogs up-to-date vaccination is required before any meet and greet is arranged.
Our adoption fee must be cleared in our bank account before any animal is available for pick up. Please note we bank with ANZ - any other bank may take 48 hours to process the monies.
Paw Prints Canine Rescue has a 10 day trial period – this basically means that if for any reason the adoption does not work out and the dog needs to be returned to us, the adoption fee minus an admin fee (minimum is $250) will be returned to the adoptees via bank transfer within 7 working days.
Please note that if an interstate adoption needs to be returned or regional adoption all transport cost with be paid by the adopter.
Please also note while this can be a very exciting time for everyone, it can also be an overwhelming time for dogs and we ask that you do try and allow your new family member to settle in their new home and adjust
INTERSTATE ADOPTIONS **
Any transport costs are to be paid by the adopting family, however we can assist you in helping with transport to airports etc.
** Please note some of our dogs are not available for interstate adoption
AFTER THE TRIAL PERIOD
After the 10 day trial period is completed Paw Prints Canine will send out all relevant paperwork for your new furbaby via email including the transfer of microchip form.
This pet has been adopted and found love with its new family.
The rescue group has removed this pet and it is no longer available for adoption.
