About Phantom
Hi, I'm Phantom, and I've got a tale to tell. You see, I'm a young dog with a big heart and a lot of bounce-some might say I'm full of life and love. They're probably right! I've been told I'm super sweet and a joy to be around, and I'd like to think that's true. I love making new friends, whether they're humans or other dogs, and nothing makes me happier than seeing everyone having a good time. But, I must admit, I've still got some learning to do. I'm a work in progress when it comes to training, but I'm a quick study and eager to please. If someone's patient enough to show me the ropes, I promise I'll do my best to make them proud.
I'm hoping to find a family that's as active and adventurous as I am. I picture myself out there with you, exploring new places, meeting other furry friends, and soaking up all the excitement life has to offer. If you've got kids, I'd love to meet them first, just to make sure we're all on the same page. I'd especially enjoy kids who don't mind lending a hand with my training-learning together sounds like a pretty fun way to bond, don't you think?
So, if you're looking for a loving companion who's ready to fill your days with fun and a bit of joyful mischief, I might just be your dog. I may need a little help finding my way, but I promise I've got a heart full of love and paws ready to follow you wherever you go. Let's write the rest of my story together, shall we?
To book a meet and greet with Phantom please phone 5441-2209 or email barcreception@bendigo.vic.gov.au . Due to the high volume of emails received, enquiries with a request for a specific appointment with phone details included will receive a response as priority over generic applications which state they are interested in meeting an animal.

Adoption details
BARC adoption officers will work with you to help you find a dog or cat that matches your needs, they will discuss things like yard fencing, exercise requirements, other pets and family members, lifestyle factors, and breed experience. To help make this as quick and easy as possible, we ask you complete and adoption questionnaire (located on our website, or you can complete on when you visit). This helps ensure that we are introducing you to the most suitable animals we have available.
We encourage all members of the household to attend a meet and greet with a pet prior to adopting an animal. If the animal being adopted is a dog, we will also require existing dogs in the household to attend the shelter as part of the meet and greet.
Holds can not be placed on animals over the phone, and can only be applied at the discretion of management.
