Hunter

Hunter (m/20 mths) Location: Melbourne, VIC

Hunter is an energetic, affectionate boy who’s currently living outside but would much prefer to be indoors, surrounded by his humans.

He thrives on attention, loves pats and back scratches, and can be very excitable. While he does tend to jump this can be easily managed with a bit of training.

He walks well on a lead and enjoys a good run to burn off energy. Afterward, you’ll often find him flopped out with his legs stretched behind him, fully relaxed.

Hunter isn’t a fan of water or cats.

When meeting other dogs, he has a playful nature and will often jump up and place his paws on them. He might do well with an older, calm female dog to guide him, pending a successful meet and greet.

Hunter is good with children but due to his excitement, may accidentally knock over smaller kids.

Given his jumping abilities, Hunter will need a large yard with high, secure fencing to keep him safe.

With the right training and structure, Hunter will be the best boy he can be!
