Leo - 8 Week Old Koolie (Trial)

Leo is a happy and sweet 8 week old Koolie x puppy looking for a family of his own.

Leo is lots of fun with a playful nature. He likes playing with toys and exploring the world, he is always happy to meet new people and immediately wins everyone over

Leo is friendly with other dogs of all sizes. He currently lives with a cat who he gets along well with. He has also met horses and cows with no issues.

Leo has been working hard on his toilet training and while he is picking this up quickly, his new family will need to continue his toilet training. As a young dog training and socialising are important to develop into a happy and well adjusted adult dog. We recommend puppy school to kickstart training.

Leo is expected to grow into a medium sized dog with high energy. As a working breed, Leo will need regular exercise and mental stimulation to ensure he is happy and healthy.

Leo is currently an inside dog and must be allowed inside in his new home. He would love another dog as a sibling but would also be ok as an only dog if his people are home more often than not.

Leo’s adoption fee is $700 which includes his desexing when he is old enough. It also includes his first two vaccinations. He has been treated for fleas and worms, and is microchipped.

Leo is in foster care in East Maitland, NSW. Since he is not yet desexed, he is only available for adoption to the Lower Hunter region (Newcastle, Lake Macquarie, Port Stephens, Maitland and Cessnock) plus Central Coast and Sydney. He’ll need to be returned to one of our approved vets for desexing when he’s 5 to 6 months old.
