About Wellie The Smellie One
Meet Wellie the Smellie One, an adorable 9-week-old bundle of joy with a playful spirit and a knack for making everyone smile! This sweet pup is on the hunt for a foster-to-adopt home in the City of Greater Bendigo, where she can continue growing and learning with a loving family. Wellie is full of puppy curiosity and would thrive in a home with another dog to keep her company, or at least some canine friends she can visit regularly to satisfy her social nature and playful energy.
Training will be key for this young pup, and her future family should be committed to helping her learn the ropes. Wellie is eager to please and loves to explore, so she'll need someone who can guide her with patience and consistency as she discovers the world around her. With a bit of training, she's sure to blossom into a well-behaved and loyal companion.
Kids are more than welcome in Wellie's new home, as long as they understand that she's still learning and may nip when she gets excited-it's all part of being a young puppy! She'll fit in perfectly with a family who appreciates her fun-loving personality and has the time to invest in her growth.
If you're looking for an energetic, sweet-natured puppy to fill your home with joy (and a bit of puppy mischief), Wellie the Smellie One is ready to find her forever family and bring along plenty of love, laughter, and wagging tails!
To book a meet and greet with Wellie The Smillie One please phone 5441-2209 or email barcreception@bendigo.vic.gov.au . Due to the high volume of emails received, enquiries with a request for a specific appointment with phone details included will receive a response as priority over generic applications which state they are interested in meeting an animal.

Adoption details
BARC adoption officers will work with you to help you find a dog or cat that matches your needs, they will discuss things like yard fencing, exercise requirements, other pets and family members, lifestyle factors, and breed experience. To help make this as quick and easy as possible, we ask you complete and adoption questionnaire (located on our website, or you can complete on when you visit). This helps ensure that we are introducing you to the most suitable animals we have available.
We encourage all members of the household to attend a meet and greet with a pet prior to adopting an animal. If the animal being adopted is a dog, we will also require existing dogs in the household to attend the shelter as part of the meet and greet.
Holds can not be placed on animals over the phone, and can only be applied at the discretion of management.
