Meet Sophie, an adorable 6 year-old Maltese cross with a heart full of love to give. With a weight of just 6kg, she is a petite bundle of joy, ready to charm her way into your heart and home.
Sophie is desexed, microchipped, vaccinated, and wormed. She is looking for a family who can provide her with a warm, loving environment where she can thrive. Although she hasn't been tested with cats, she is well-regarded around other dogs, making her a great companion for a fellow canine. Sophie is believed to be a child-friendly dog, best suited to households with children over the age of six who can respect her gentle nature.
She's energetic and playful, but also knows how to wind down for a well-deserved snuggle after her daily walks. Sophie is a great fit for an active family who can provide her with ample attention and outdoor playtime in a securely fenced yard.
Currently in Red Hill, Sophie is eagerly awaiting the chance to meet her forever family. If you think Sophie is the right match for your home, the adoption fee is $995. Open your heart and home to Sophie, and she will undoubtedly reward you with endless cuddles and companionship.

Here are some quick tips to make your APPLICATION stand out:
Include as many details as you can about your lifestyle, family, accommodation, and work. Here’s some first-hand feedback from our member rescue organisations about what they'd like to see in your applications:
🐱 Why would this animal suit your home? (This lets them know that you've read the pet’s bio and considered their personality vs. your lifestyle)
🐾 Details about your family
🏡 Is your home quiet/relaxed or loud/busy? (Particularly important for timid cats). Ask questions, to show your are interested in the animals ell being.
Add questions into the application.
Fill out the profiles of your current pets if you have any. Understanding the personality of resident cats and dogs will help rescue organisations or foster carers determine if the pet will adjust to your surroundings.
Remember to be respectful and kind in your enquiries. A simple greeting can go a long way! Behind that screen is a real hooman, who loves and cares for the pet you're enquiring about just as much as you will!
Be open and honest - rescues prefer having as much information as they can about potential adopters.
An adoption fee applies to each animal to cover only the basic veterinary procedures, and each adoption goes out on a 21 day settling in period, if the dog is returned in this period, and you’ve spoken to our trainer for assistance, and the dog is returned in good health, mentally and physically, and all their belongings and paperwork are returned, then we provide a refund less $50 admin fee. This is not a trial, but in case of any unknown or unforeseen circumstances.
The adoption process is as follows
✅Everyone that lives in the home will meet the dog with the carer
✅We ask everyone go home again and discuss and think about overnight and contact us the next day
✅This also gives the carer a chance to think about suitability
✅Then if everyone agrees we then require a home inspection, or at least photos of the home yard and fences.
✅Then the adoption fee is paid and once that clears our account you are free to arrange with the carer to collect
✅The adoption paperwork comes out in 14 days in which time you are required to register and change chip over
