Female Domestic Short Hair (DSH) Mix Cat
I've been adopted!
Hyacinth first came to Just Cats as a very unsocial girl, and was guaranteed to hiss if you went near her.
Her hisses are just little warnings that mostly mean nothing, once you brave the hisses and reach out a hand to pat her, she relaxes into a super loving, smoochy girl, and the hisses start to dissipate. She is an amazing girl and is well worth the time and effort it might take to integrate her into your home. Hyacinth is a gentle soul, who loves pats, being brushed, and enjoys having lots of toys, whether they are balls, soft toys, crinkly toys etc. She will curl up and make biscuits when she truly feels safe, so take that as an amazing sign of progress, and she LOVES tummy rubs. Hyacinth would be ok with other cats, would prefer older children if any and is untested around dogs.
She will need a safe space to spend time in to get used to her surroundings - which can be in spare room or a cat or dog crate. Come and meet her at our Longford Centre.
