About Stella - 1.5 Year Old Staffy X Mastiff (On Trial)
Meet Stella - your future BFF (Best Furry Friend) whose tail wags so much it could power a small city. She is easily pleased with cuddles, pats, and belly scratches being the second quickest way to Stella’s heart but of course, you guessed it - food and treats are always #1. Short daily walks or ‘snifari’ adventures - either at home or out and about - are more than enough for this gorgeous love bug.
She’s a stunning 18 month old Staffy x Mastiff and is the perfect blend of fun and affection. Stella loves playing tug-o-war, learning new tricks and showing off the ones she’s already mastered. At the same time, she is equally content snuggling up on the lounge, soaking up belly rubs, and being with her human bestie.
Stella currently lives with a 2 year old male staffy (previously adopted from DRN) as wellas children aged between 10-13 years old. She is gentle, playful, and responsive to commands and directions. She loves to run around the yard with her fur sibling, making the most of sunny days by sunbathing on the deck, and is always the ‘piggy in the middle’ when the kids join in to play ball.
Stella deserves to be showered with love and cuddles and to be the centre of your world.
If you work full time or are away frequently, Stella will benefit from having a fur friend to hang out with and keep her occupied.
She is house trained, has excellent manners and walks on a lead like a pro making Stella the perfect match for pretty much anyone! Stella wants to share every part of life with her human besties so expect her to be wherever you are, yes even in the bathroom (if you let her). Stella happily sleeps all night inside on her own bed, but she wouldn’t say no if you allowed her to sleep in your big comfy bed snuggled up to you.
If you are looking for a 25kg lap dog, aka the queen of snuggles, who is ready to settle her twerky toosh next to you (or on you), then Stella is the BFF side kick for you!
• Dog and kid friendly
• Fully house trained
• Must have secure 1.8m/6ft high fencing
• Well-mannered, knows basic commands and walks great on lead
• Will need to be taken to a DRN approved vet for desexing mid-December 2024
Her adoption fee is $400 which includes her desexing in December 2024. She has been vaccinated, treated for fleas and worms, and is microchipped.
Stella is in foster care in Gillieston Heights, NSW. Since she is not yet desexed, she is only available for adoption to the Lower Hunter region (Newcastle, Lake Macquarie, Port Stephens, Maitland and Cessnock) plus Central Coast and Sydney. She’ll need to be returned to one of our approved vets for desexing in December 2024.
