About Jupiter
Requirements:
Must meet all family members
Kids (any age)
Inside only
Meet Jupiter,
Jupiter is a sweet kitten who’s a little shy but also a little playful! He is the perfect choice for all kinds of families, but best suited with families with older kids as loud noises can be a bit too much for him. Jupiter may be a little reserved at first but he quickly transforms into a social and playful kitten. He just needs a little time to warm up. He is still getting used to being picked up, he does allow it but may meow due to his being unsure about having his paws off the ground.
Jupiter came in with his sisters Jessa (ID: 11415) & Joss (ID: 11416). He's more quiet compared to his sisters. But much like his sisters, he does like to play with ping pong balls. He'll gently bat them around his condo.
Jupiter has an easy going & gentle personality, although timid, his timidity is very mild, but it's important to note this because he may at times show a more reserved side of himself every now and again. Overall, Jupiter is playful & affectionate but big movements may overwhelm him a little and he will back away to show that he is not comfortable, before building up the courage again to continue playing. Even though he may be overwhelmed he still likes to be patted!
Jupiter is also curious & eager to explore when he feels safe to do so.
Just like all kittens, he would love a cat tree to climb on and scratch, and an assortment of toys to play with. Jupiter should be fed kitten food multiple times a day to ensure that he grow up big and strong.
Jupiter is already litter trained, but it’s best to show him where the litter tray is when you get home to minimise any accidents.
If you’ve got other animals at home, that’s okay, just make sure that they have a slow & controlled introduction.
Can you open your heart and home to a sweet, playful kitty like Jupiter?

With all animals it’s important to understand that going into a new environment with new people may not be as flawless as we want it to be. It’s important to know that these animals have unknown histories. Most left in the shelter by their owners. The information we receive is from observing the animal’s behaviours & reactions to certain stimuli whilst in our care. Adopted animals can take up to 3 months to properly decompress from post-shelter life & a lot of behaviours & quirks will surface during this time. All that we ask is that their new owners have an open mind & are patient.
So please keep in touch with us after adoption so that we can help you settle your new family member in and address any unexpected behaviours.
