Meet Oska, a gorgeous and happy shaggy coat Heeler x Staghound who always greets you with a radiant smile. Weighing in at just 19 kilos, he's a medium-sized bundle of joy who loves nothing more than cuddles and human companionship. Oska is a social butterfly, thriving in the presence of people both young and old. He has the special talent of making you feel like you've known him forever, eager for belly rubs and affection as soon as you walk through the door.Whith the smarts of the Heeler and the couch potato of a the Stag this chap has the best of both breeds.
Oska enjoys self-entertainment and eagerly plays with his squeaky toys, tossing them around the yard as his comedic relief when his humans are busy or away. While independent, he cherishes human interaction and is incredibly loyal. He is adaptable and well-behaved at home, content to nap in a sunny spot in the backyard or next to you on the couch. Oska has been introduced to another and was very polite and would be a fantastic companion for a well-mannered, social female dog.
Oska loves the company of an active family where he can go on adventures and explore new surroundings. His youthful exuberance sometimes shows when he gets a bit excited during walks, pulling a little at the start. However, with an experienced handler, he soon finds his rhythm and settles into a great pace. He is eager to meet everyone, always happy to greet new human and canine friends alike. Oska has mastered some commands, like "Sit," and is working on others like "Stay" and "Heel."
During the cool evenings, Oska enjoys a snuggle next to you while watching TV, and when it's bedtime, he gathers his favourite toy for one last play before curling up on the couch to sleep soundly through the night. Oska’s heart is as big as his smile, and with a little patience in his ongoing training, he will be a loyal, loving, and delightful addition to your family.
