About Harley
PROFILE AND NEEDS IN A HOME
Harley came to us very underweight and disheveled, but full of love and energy. She has very quickly adapted to life outside the pound and has shown herself to be a very smart, independent and brave little pup.
She has been very respectful and playful with her foster siblings, including a large and small dog, 2 cats, horses and sheep so would be able to go to a home with any of these so would fit into a multi-pet household with ease.
Although she loves spending time playing with the pack, she has been just as happy playing on her own with her toys.
Our preference is that Harley be rehomed with another dog, however Harley may be ok as an only dog provided her new family were home more often than not and can include her where possible in their lives outside of the home.
Harley will need a family that will get her out and about daily for exercise.
She has already learnt to sit, stay, and leave it and her recall is getting better every day. She walks well on lead and loves exploring.
As she is still a puppy, she will need an owner committed to ongoing force-free, reward-based training and socialisation to help her to grow into the perfect canine citizen we know she can be.
Like all of our dogs Harley must have access inside at all times and be permitted to cuddle on the couch, which she has definitely mastered in her foster home.
If you would like to meet Harley, please provide us some details about yourself, home environment, lifestyle, other pets (if any), your family members, your daily activity level, Harley's potential alone time, home access, contingency plans for when you're away, and your ability to cover vet expenses. Plus, any other details that may assist in a successful adoption.
