Beans is still learning the ropes of being a well-mannered companion, and he's eager to grow alongside a patient and loving family.

Beans is best suited for a home with older children, as his playful, gumby nature may inadvertently knock over little ones. However, if your kids have experience with big dogs, he'll fit right in! He's still mastering commands like "sit," so his new family will need to continue his training. Thankfully, Beans is incredibly food motivated, which makes him a quick learner when it comes to basic commands and fun tricks.

With a big heart and a playful spirit, Beans is still figuring out how to interact with toys and has already discovered the joy of playing fetch! He looks to his human for guidance and thrives in a nurturing environment. Because he possesses many shepherd qualities, he'll do best with a family who has experience with this breed.

Beans would thrive in a home with secure fencing, as he can be reactive to other dogs and people walking by. He may be open to sharing his space with a calm, older dog who can offer guidance and companionship, but he should be the center of attention!

For the first few weeks, having someone home more often will help him settle in and adjust to his new surroundings. Beans has no experience with livestock, so if he's heading to a farm, training will be essential to help him understand appropriate behavior.
