About Friday
Please only apply for this greyhound if you have:
- A family situation where people are home more often than not
- A grassed yard for zoomies
Every day is a Friday with this gorgeous boy!
Chill and happy from the first day. Friday walks loosely on lead and is happy with 2 short 10-15 minutes a day with slightly longer on the weekend. He is learning stop, cross (the road), stay & wait. He loves to say hi to dogs he meets and is unfazed about barking dogs behind fences. Friday willingly jumps in and out of the car and he currently attends the weekly Greyhound Socialisation Class in Mornington (with after training café socialisation as well)
He is very gentle with my 1 year old grandson too and walks really nicely next to the pram too. I think he would be happy with a family where someone is home more often than not or with an older canine companion who is not too boisterous. He loves to be with his people or at least have them in his sight
Friday is on heart medication 3 times a day so his new home would need someone who would be able to give this to him and he will happily takes this with a meal or treats. He has not displayed any resource guarding or sleep startle. He has an old leg injury which may restrict his ability to go up and down stairs but he is still happy doing zoomies and has bursts of energy to run off, so a small to medium garden would be great. He also absolutely loves to play with his toys! Friday is also toilet trained and sleeps right through the night.
Friday is a stunning yet gentle boy would love to be part of your family!
[Note: Under Victorian Law greyhounds must be on-leash at all times in public areas, including in off-leash parks or ovals]
