Meet our sensitive Miss Izzy!

When Izzy first found her way to our shelter, she was very scared and quite shy. She wanted nothing more than to hide away and be left alone. Insert her wonderful foster carer! During foster care we learnt that Izzy had found a new friend in their resident mini dachshund, playing with and grooming him!

Izzy has started to come out of her shell, and we have discovered that when she feels a little more comfortable in her surroundings and with people who take their time with her, he loves playing with toys on strings. She also likes a pat, but isn't too sure about being picked up or held at this point in time. She also loves a treat, and her current favourite snack is tuna.

Whilst she will now approach stationery people, or those sitting down, she can still be a little spooked. She really hopes that she can find a forever family that will encourage her to keep coming out of her shell, and give her the time and space she needs to do so.
