We have the cutest angel available for adoption - Zelda!

Zelda was surrendered to our shelter after her previous owners could no longer care for her, so he's looking for her new permanent forever home and she wants YOU.

Zelda is your typical little JRT, fullllll of energy and LOVES to run around! She would love for her new family to be quite active and take her for lots of exercise and fun activities.

Zelda is a little greedy guts and loves treaties. She can be a little snatchy when treats are involved, just because she loves them SO MUCH. Her new family will need to work with her to help her develop and learn some manners. She's a clever girl who already knows how to sit, but she is still only young, so would greatly benefit from some further training and skill development.

Here at the shelter, Zelda is a little bit cautious about new people and new places, which we expect to continue across initially into her new home. She would love if new introductions are taken slowly and that she is not too overwhelmed with handling. Zelda would like for her new family to consist of adults only, who will take their time with her and allow her to warm up on her own time.

Initially, Zelda prefers that humans take it slow with handling when they first meet her, however, once she gets to know you, this little gal ADORES pats. She'll shove her little nose underneath your arm to try and get all the pats in the world from you.

During her time at The Home, Zelda has enjoyed her interactions with other dogs so she wouldn't mind sharing her new home with another doggy friend. If you do have another dog at home, please ensure they are present for the meet & greet!
