About Seven
Seven is a sweet boy brimming with love and affection. He adores his humans and is a huge cuddle bug at heart! This charming pup is very social with dogs and delights in playtime and running around at the dog park. Cats? No problem—he’s completely unphased by them!
While Seven has a burst of energy during walks, he’s also content to relax at home, often curling up by your side while you work. He may be a gentleman most of the time, but he’s been working through some separation anxiety since arriving in foster care. His foster parents are collaborating with a trainer, and he’s on medication to help with his anxiety. This is something his forever family will need to continue addressing and will need to acknowledge some understanding of in their application.
Please note, Seven is a standard schnauzer so weighs around 14kgs.
My Ideal Home: Seven currently enjoys apartment living and is perfectly happy with this lifestyle. He loves his walks and doesn’t require a lot of space to run around—he's more than content to snuggle and relax at home. However, because of his separation anxiety, he tends to bark when left alone. Ideally, he would thrive in a home where someone is around most of the time to help him feel secure as he continues his training.
My Energy Level: Seven is low-energy indoors and high-energy on walks. He’s a wonderful companion, ready to match your pace—whether you want to relax on the couch or explore the neighborhood. He’ll happily accompany you on leisurely strolls or bound ahead with excitement during outdoor adventures.
My Suitability to Children: Seven is gentle and loving, making him a great fit for families with children of all ages. He enjoys their company and often welcomes their attention during walks, bringing smiles all around.
My Suitability to Other Cats or Dogs: This social butterfly is fantastic with other dogs! Seven plays well with everyone at the dog park and has even made friends with a chihuahua in his foster home. While he may bark a little on-leash when he sees other dogs—simply because he’s eager to play—he’s never aggressive. As for cats, Seven is completely indifferent; he coexists peacefully with two feline friends in his foster home without any issues.
Fun Fact: One of Seven's quirkiest traits is his hilarious zoomies! He gets so excited that he tries to sprint at full speed, often tripping or bumping into things along the way. It’s a sight that will surely bring laughter to your home!
If you’re ready to welcome a loving, joyful companion into your life, Seven is eager to find his forever home. With a little patience and lots of love, he’s sure to bring boundless happiness into your days!

We want your adoption through Maggie's to be a good experience so we will occasionally suggest a different cat or dog that may suit your situation better and the needs of the individual pet.
All our pets leave for their new homes on a two-week trial. At the end of the trial, we will transfer the microchip into your name and provide you with the pets vet certificates. Once you receive the Certificate of Identification from council, your adoption will be complete.
