Hi I’m Rick Astley and I will never give you up, let you down or desert you but I will steal your heart!
I am a quieter boy but will let you know with my singing voice when I want something including attention. I love hidey holes such as tunnels to lay and play in. I love playing with wand toys to get me out of my shell.
I currently live with two adults and two other cats. The home I am searching for would be patient and gentle, possibly with other cats; however, it is not a necessity; it would have lots of hidey holes and scratchers as well.
I know how to use a kitty litter however on my first day in my foster home I had a little accident so keeping me off carpet for the first day is probably a good idea.
I can be a little temperamental about my stomach and chest being touched. Sometimes, I love it, and sometimes, I don’t. I love being scratched on the side of my neck near my ear and on top of my head.
I took about a week to be comfortable with my foster humans and have been good with my foster cat siblings; however, they haven’t come around completely yet to me (so no fault of my own).

Completing this application form does not place you under any obligation to adopt.
Safe Haven Animal Rescue Inc have a 10 day trial/settling period, if for any reason the pet needs to be returned, we will happily take them back into our care once a foster home is found and the adoption fee, minus $50 (admin fee), will be returned via bank transfer. If the pet is returned after the trial period there will be no refund made.
ADOPTION PROCESS:
1. An Adoption application MUST be filled out prior to the meet and greet with the animal.
2. 'Meet & Greet' with the animal and their carer will then take place.
3. The animal MUST not be taken on the day unless PRIOR ARRANGED (travelling over a 2 hr round trip). If prior arrangement is made, an Adoption Contract must be signed in full and payment must before collection of the pet.
