Hi, I’m Mambo – A Big, Lovable Lap Dog (At Least, I Think I Am)!

I might be a big boy, but don’t let my size fool you—I’m absolutely convinced that I belong in your lap! I’m all about affection and love nothing more than a good cuddle session. When I bond with you, you’ll quickly see that I’m a total softie who just wants to be close to my humans. That said, I also appreciate a bit of independence. I’m comfortable spending time on my own and enjoy doing my own thing when the mood strikes.

I’d be happiest in a home where I can have access to both indoors and outdoors. I love hanging out outside, exploring the yard, and taking in all the sights and smells. But when I’m ready for some downtime, I’ll happily head back inside for some quality relaxation with you.

Now, I’ll be honest—I can be a little unsure and timid when I meet new people or find myself in unfamiliar situations. Sometimes I just need a little extra time to warm up and feel comfortable. But trust me, once I get to know you and feel safe, I’ll be your best friend for life! I’m incredibly loyal and will stick by your side through thick and thin. All I need is a little patience and understanding at first, and then you’ll see just how loving I can be.

Because I’m still working on my confidence, I’d really benefit from an experienced owner who can help me continue growing and learning. Someone who understands that I may need some gentle encouragement in certain situations, but who also knows that once I find my groove, I’ll show off my true, sweet self.

I’m dog-friendly, and I do love making new canine friends! However, I sometimes get a bit frustrated if I don’t get to say hello right away. That’s why it’s important for me to meet any dogs I might be living with before I come home with you. With a proper introduction, I can be a great companion for other dogs and enjoy their company.
