About Molly
Molly is a 6-year-11-month-old Blue Heeler cross with a heart full of love and a playful spirit that still shines brightly. She has a zest for life and enjoys getting out into the open, where she can chase a ball to her heart's content.
Molly is an active girl who loves to stay on the move, whether she's exploring a new trail, trotting around the neighborhood, or simply soaking in the fresh air. She looks forward to her daily walks, where she eagerly sniffs out new scents and happily greets the people she meets along the way.
When it comes to companionship, Molly is incredibly sweet and affectionate. She would thrive in a home where she can be the only dog, enjoying all the love and attention to herself. However, if you have a laid-back, easy-going dog who isn't too in her face, Molly would be okay with sharing her space. Her gentle nature and loving personality make her a great match for families with older children who can appreciate her company and give her the attention she deserves.
Molly is not just a playful pup; she's also house-trained and ready to share her life indoors with her family. She would love nothing more than to curl up on a cozy bed after a day of fun, enjoying the warmth of home life and the companionship of her favorite people. While Molly is happy being active outdoors, she equally enjoys moments of calm affection, snuggling up for a belly rub or simply lying close to her loved ones.
This affectionate girl is looking for a family who can offer her a blend of adventure and relaxation-a place where she can be part of the daily routine, join in on family activities, and share her joyful spirit. With her lively personality, loving heart, and eagerness to be part of a family, Molly is more than ready to bring happiness and companionship to her forever home.
To book a meet and greet with Molly please phone 5441-2209 or email barcreception@bendigo.vic.gov.au . Due to the high volume of emails received, enquiries with a request for a specific appointment with phone details included will receive a response as priority over generic applications which state they are interested in meeting an animal.

Adoption details
BARC adoption officers will work with you to help you find a dog or cat that matches your needs, they will discuss things like yard fencing, exercise requirements, other pets and family members, lifestyle factors, and breed experience. To help make this as quick and easy as possible, we ask you complete and adoption questionnaire (located on our website, or you can complete on when you visit). This helps ensure that we are introducing you to the most suitable animals we have available.
We encourage all members of the household to attend a meet and greet with a pet prior to adopting an animal. If the animal being adopted is a dog, we will also require existing dogs in the household to attend the shelter as part of the meet and greet.
Holds can not be placed on animals over the phone, and can only be applied at the discretion of management.
