About Ned - 4 Year Old Labradoodle X Spoodle (Trial)
My name is Ned, I’m just over 4 years old, and I’m a clever, sensitive boy looking for my forever family.
MY IDEAL HOME:
🐾 A family who has someone home all the time, and/or a friendly calm older dog (meet & greets essential). Kids 12 years and older are okay.
🐾 Medium sized Oodle experience (I’m a strong boy at 16.kg but also a real lap dog)
🐾 Active lifestyle (I used to go to doggy daycare twice a week & love going to the dog park)
🐾 A family that will commit to engaging a force free positive reinforcement trainer to help manage my separation anxiety, enrichment training and managing excitement levels when it’s time for walkies.
🐾 I can use a doggy door and have basic commands down pat (e.g. heel, wait, shake, down, crawl, I am also good at waiting to be invited onto the couch rather than jumping up on my own )
🐾 Experience with Oodle coats – grooming every 6-8 weeks and regular brushing. I don’t mind being brushed as long as it’s with my purple brush.
My new family also need to know that I have suffered from ear infections and environmental allergies (ear & paw irritation) which are currently being managed with steroids. A family that will continue to provide me with fresh food feeding is a non-negotiable as I’m transitioning now to help manage my allergies (I’m currently on Royal Canin hypo-allergenic kibble).
Lastly, I’m in training currently with a force free positive reinforcement trainer to help me work on my separation anxiety and resource guarding toys/high value food & treats. My foster family have been amazing in helping me work on these skills important skills to help me be the best boy I can be.
