About Chilli
Meet Chilli. He is a young miniature Dachshund who is a loving and energetic little man – full of fun but also very gentle. 🥰
He loves children and his toys, chasing balls, playing tug-o-war and carrying soft toys around and is great with other dogs. He likes to be in the middle of everything, getting and giving lots of cuddles, and is incredibly tolerant. 👨👩👧👧
He barks when people approach the house or come to visit, but once introduced he’s immediately content. He is also learning to improve with this. 👮♂️
He can also entertain himself if left alone in the garden with his bed and toys, he will bark and cry for a short period but settles himself fairly quickly. 🦴
He is doing well with his housetraining with his foster carer. ✔
Chilli is a very active little guy and needs two structured walks a day and play time. 🦮
He needs a home where he can live with another dog. 🐶🐶
He is not suited to a home with cats. 🐱❌
He must sleep inside at night and he sleeps in crate at night. He also needs a doggie door, which he is skilled at using. 🌛
He is the cutest little guy and loves sitting for cuddles watching TV. 📺
Medical notes
No known pre-existing conditions.

Adoption details
We list animals for adoption on Pet Rescue as well as on our own Animals-in-Need-Brisbane website. We talk with people who contact about an animal to see what their needs and situation are. Our emphasis is on getting the right animal for the people and the right people for the animal. If everyone's needs are met things usually work out well.
Please note all our cats are indoor cats only.
If the situation sounds good we arrange a meeting. If all goes well we let people try the animal out for a couple of weeks to ensure that everyone is happy.
We keep records of all adopters, follow up to ensure all is well and undertake to take back any animal if circumstances change.
