About Remi
Introducing Remi!
Remi is a Labrador x Staffy born 12th May 2024.
Remi was brought in to us as an unmicrochipped stray, however we did have his owner reach out to us as he was looking for him. Unfortunately Remi's owner stopped responding to our attempts at contact & Remi is now on the lookout for his new home.
We were told Remi was 9 months old, however he still has some of his puppy teeth, so he is approx 5 months old. Remi is an incredibly sweet boy, who does a perfect "sit" and usually looks very proud of himself when he does it. He's very affectionate and will sit on your lap if you let him. Considering he's still quite young, he's quite mature for his age.
Like every pup, Remi will thrive with early socialisation and exposure to many different people, sights, sounds, and experiences will ensure he grows to be a well rounded gentleman.
He still has so much to learn about the world and life and would love to be in a home where he is included as a member of the family. Remi will thrive in an environment that guides him with positive direction and lots of love and attention.
Remi tested fairly well with other dogs, however we don't think he's had much socialisation with them as he doesn't really know how to interact with others. He was friendly & playful once he settled, but did bark at & jump on the other dogs he met.
Please note that if you have an existing dog in residence, we will require a meet and greet to ensure they get along and will be always best buddies. When organising a meet and greet, we will require a current vaccination certificate for your existing dog to ensure that there is no chance of infecting the pups who are currently not up to date with their vaccinations.
Remi seemed to be scared of our resident cats, so we feel he could be suitable to live with cats, if given a slow & controlled introduction to them.
Remi is unfazed by pocket pets.
Remi's adoption fee is $600 and includes his desexing & lifetime registration. Remi is also regularly treated for flea and worms and has recently had his first vaccination.
To enquire more or to meet Remi, please call 0499 900 272 or email ccacfpetadoptions@gmail.com and speak to one of our friendly staff.
Remi is looking forward to meeting you & he is currently located in East Maitland.

Adoption details
If you are interested in adopting one of our animals, please contact us on 0499 900 272.
Staff will ask more about your lifestyle and the information you provide will helps us to achieve the best match between the dog or cat and their new home. We will also have certain adoption requirements that have to be approved prior to meeting the animal (eg fencing requirements, no young kids, etc)
Once all of your questions have been answered and adoption requirements met and approved, its time to meet your potential new furbaby. This meet will be conducted at the shelter in the Hunter Valley.
Should you have an existing dog in your life, we will require a meet and greet to ensure that they get along.
The final step (pending agreement by both parties) is the payment of the adoption fee and filling in of associated paperwork for your new furbaby.
Congratulations, you have now saved a life!
