About Murphy
*In foster care in Olympic Park, Sydney*
A sweet soul who enjoys hanging out with you more than anything else in the world, magnificent Murphy is the purrfect companion!
This incredibly snuggly boy is always happiest by your side, whether you're working, watching TV or going about your daily tasks. If you're not around or he just feels like a change of pace, he's partial to an enclosed cat carrier - chilling out there contentedly even when many more comfortable options are available :)
Like all Maggie's pets, Murphy is microchipped, desexed and vaccinated.

MY IDEAL HOME: ... will be one where you're home a lot, as I adore spending heaps of quality time with my special people! Maybe you WFH at least a few days a week, or you're a retiree looking for a friendly cat to grow old with?
I'm great with children, so a family home would also suit me down to the ground!
MY ENERGY LEVEL: I'm a very relaxed kind of guy, especially for my age! You're much more likely to find me asleep in a cosy spot (preferably close to you) than racing madly around the house.
MY SUITABILITY TO CHILDREN: Excellent! My calm temperament is the perfect match for family life. I especially love a still child with an available lap :)
MY SUITABILITY TO CATS AND DOGS: Hard to say, as I haven't met any other pets since arriving in foster care.

We ask all people looking to adopt to fill in our adoption enquiry form at https://form.jotform.co/92940837256870. Please use this link rather than the 'Enquire' button on the pet's PetRescue profile to streamline your enquiry.
Our foster carer will contact you when we receive your application to arrange a time for you to meet with their foster pet.
We want your adoption through Maggie's to be a good experience so we will occasionally suggest a different cat or dog that may suit your situation better and the needs of the individual pet.
All our pets leave for their new homes on a two-week trial. At the end of the trial, we will transfer the microchip into your name and provide you with the pets vet certificates. Once you receive the Certificate of Identification from council, your adoption will be complete.
Please consider, that a Maggie's Pet is a pet for Life, before adopting.
