Gorgeous Barney is developing into the most beautiful, affectionate kitten ever! More discerning than his brothers Boris and Blizzard, he likes to scope out his environment to see what's going on before leaping into the fray.

Make no mistake though - once he decides he's in he plays hard, particularly enjoying wresting with his brothers, attacking a toy or chasing the laser beam or a ball! Once he's had enough, he's content to leave the other boys to it and keep score from the sidelines.

Initially a tad cautious of his foster carer, this little foodie has since been won over with poached chicken! The odd creamy treat might have played a part too ;) Now he comes over eagerly to be picked up and will happily cuddle on a lap when he's sleepy, rewarding his humans with big purrs.

Like all Maggie's pets, Barney is microchipped, desexed and vaccinated.

MY IDEAL HOME: I'm really not fussy! Any cat-loving home with cuddles on tap, delicious food and interactive playtime sounds great to me :)

I'd definitely enjoy having another friendly feline around, but I'm an independent boy so I'd also be purrfectly fine as your one and only.

MY ENERGY LEVEL: Medium, I'd say. I have spurts of kitten energy where I love to chase the laser toy or wrestle with my brothers, but I'm usually the first to retire for a nap.

MY SUITABILITY TO CHILDREN: I haven't met any children yet, but I think I'd be OK in a family home with kids who understand that while I love to play, at times I need my own space.

MY SUITABILITY TO CATS AND DOGS: My brothers are awesome, so another nice cat or two to hang out with would be fun for sure! I might even like having a dog sibling, with the right introductions of course.
