About Patch
Introducing Patch, a delightful 3-year-old Kelpie mix with a heart full of love and a spirit eager for adventure. Whether you're looking for a cuddle buddy or a playful companion, Patch offers the best of both worlds with his active and calm demeanor. He’s as happy chasing after a ball as he is snuggling up for a quiet evening on the couch.
Patch is an energetic breed and would thrive in an environment where he can stay active. His favourite game is a classic round of fetch, and he’ll be more than happy to keep you entertained with his impressive ball-chasing skills. But once playtime is over, Patch's gentle, calm side emerges, making him the perfect companion for those lazy afternoons when you just need some company and a few cuddles.
While Patch is a sweetheart to his human friends, he is not suited for homes with cats or poultry. He might just see them as a part of his playful game.
If you're looking for a faithful friend ready to fill your days with fun and affection, Patch might just be your perfect match. He's waiting to join a family that will enjoy his active, loving personality and treat him as a cherished member of the household.

Adoption details
Once you are ready to adopt, please complete the BCDR Adoption Application questionnaire below. This is not a contract or agreement of any kind, just an expression of interest in the animal.
We will not authorise meets unless this has been completed and only approved applications may meet the dogs. Once you are approved and have submitted all relevant information, we will organise for you to meet the dog at your home or in a public place. If you have other animals they should please be at the meet.
Before applying, please consider and finalise the following: real estate approval, fence repair if needed, outside shelter areas and look into the dog's breed dietary requirements eg large breed vs medium breed.
*Same gender adoptions will not be considered. Same sex aggression is something at BCDR we will avoid. *
