About Bearboo and Melli
Bearboo and Melli will need the following in their new home.
- To live together.
- A family that will enjoy their cuddles but also allow them their own space.
- Squeaky toys for when they are ready for a play.
- To be allowed inside during the day and have access to the yard for sniffs and toileting.
- To sleep inside of a night.
- Owners that will take measures to help them loose weight, and possibly seek advice from a vet about this.
Bearboo and Melli have spent their life together and are looking for a new forever home to spend their older years together. Bearboo and Melli can be a little shy meeting new people but it doesn’t take them long to warm up and be your new best friend. They enjoy playtime especially when it involves a squeaky toy and they have been known to destroy the odd stuffed toy here and there. After a bit of a play, they are ready to have a rest and a bit of snooze, unless you are doing something interesting and then they will follow you around to see what is happening. Bearboo and Melli have a little of a weight problem, and need to count their calories, they will need your help, their meals need to be measured out and not to be given any treats throughout the day. Bearboo and Melli are looking for a home together with no children. Bearboo and Melli will need regular grooming and clipping to keep their coat mat free and looking nice, they are very unsure of the grooming process and will need a patient groomer and their new owner to give them reassurance throughout the process. Bearboo and Melli can be nervous when walking on a lead and will need reassurance with this.

Please note- we do not work on a first in best dressed basis, we assess all applications to choose the home that we believe will best match the animal.
If you believe one of our animals would be a good match for your home please send us a detailed email us with some information about the people and any other animals in your home as well as the type of lifestyle you can offer a new rescue pet.
We are volunteerswho run the rescue around families, paid employment and other commitments so your patience is appreciated.
We do require you to travel to meet the animal you are looking to adopt. For dog adoptions, any other dogs in your home musr attend the meet and greet, this enables us to assess their compatibility and helps prevent them being returned and creating more confusion/insecurities for the foster animal.
We reserve the right to refuse the adoption if we don't believe it's a good match for our animals.
All our animals are available for a two week trial with full refund. They are also covered by a lifetime return policy. If you ever find yourself unable to care for or keep your pet please contact us and they will come back into our care or we will assist you in finding them a suitable new home, this is a condition thst you agree to when signing our Adoption Agreement.
