Beautiful boy Benji, he's an absolute bundle of joy!
He loves endless cuddles, treats and squeaky tennis balls.
Benji gives so much love to his owners; he is a little shadow and will stick by your side all day.
Benji like most dachshunds needs lots of attention and love, he can be selective of his 4 legged friends; having been an only dog for all of his little life.
Typical of our beloved breed, this boy needs an only home, with the company of a stay at home worker or retired one/couple owners. Older teens would be ok.
Having been on his own till a baby arrived a few months ago, it noisy and busy household now and he is reactive and anxious.
He has extreme separation anxiety and will cry and bark when alone for long periods of time.
He's not great with strangers till he gets used to them on his terms; he's not a boy to be rushed at or surprised upon a meet.
He needs a home where he is the only dog although has got on with some selective dachshunds in the past.
His home should be a quiet sanctuary well away from the road, visible traffic and people; where he can have a quiet peaceful life.
