About Delilah
We have a new girl in town....and her name is Delilah. Initially she was unsure of her shelter surroundings with all the people and the different noises, however she is starting to settle in nicely.
PUR-SONALITY:- We know that Delilah loves the gentle approach from her human and responds with lots of purrs and head bops. Delilah has become a massive purr-baby - the noise is like a freight train in a tunnel! Once she is settled at her new home and has developed a bond with her human companion, you'll see a confident and very affectionate side of her Delilah.
STANDOUT FEATURES:- Delilah is blessed with a beautiful, thick coat of black fur and stunning, clear yellow eyes. She has been given a big thumbs-up by her vet as being 'happy and healthy'. That's a standout feature.
LIFESTYLE:- Delilah must have a SAFE INDOOR LIFESTYLE in her new home, where her new guardians would ensure that she's kept safe from the many dangers outside. Did you know that it's reported that outside cats live approx. 10 years less than inside ones? Unfortunately, when Delilah is outside, she'll be tempted to kill the wildlife - she can't help this as it's in her genes. You can make inside your home happy and exciting for her by adding a couple of large cat scratching trees (great near windows and where people gather), some warm beds, cardboard boxes and wand toys. Cat fun is only limited by your imagination.
CARE:- Her human companions could have SOME CAT EXPERIENCE, however the important qualities they need are patience and kindness, whilst Delilah settles in and finds her paws. A "LAUNCH ROOM" would help a great deal to make her feel comfortable. It's a space that she can retreat to if she feels overwhelmed. To keep Delilah in excellent shape, it's important to give her a nutritious diet. This diet consists of high-quality dry biscuits, yummy wet food and ample bowls of cool, fresh water which is essential for a cat's hydration. My adoption price includes: A FREE 2kg bag of ROYAL CANIN dry food A FREE 2kg bag of CATMATE litter My desexing, microchip and vaccinations Adoption Price: $185 If you think I might be the perfect fit for your family, please fill out an adoption application today! www.rspcaqld.org.au/apply-to-adopt
