About Gus
Meet Gus, an endearing and energetic Jack Russell Terrier, who loves nothing more than sharing his affection with everyone he meets.
Born on 25 March 2023, this handsome little boy has quickly made friends with all his foster brothers and sisters, both dogs and cats alike. And does he love his foster mum, Jenny? He sure does.
Weighing just 6 kg, Gus may be small, but his heart is huge. He loves everyone!
Gus thrives in an environment where he can express his innate playfulness, which might include jumping into his shell pool for a splash or doing speedy loops of the backyard with one of his buddies.
Excitable and bouncy at times, he is best suited to families without tiny children who might be toppled over by his enthusiasm.
A social butterfly at heart, Gus would love a home where someone is around most of the time and he'd absolutely love a canine and/or feline companion.
Given half a chance, Gus will indulge his passion for exploring the neighbourhood, so a secure yard with good fencing is essential to prevent him from indulging his inner escape artist.
His new family must be prepared to keep a watchful eye on him and channel his infectious energy into productive and fun activities, especially in the first few months of rehoming.
If you're ready for a robust, courageous, affectionate and spirited companion who will fill your home with joy and laughter, look no further than Gus.
