About Evie
Meet Evie, a delightful 5-month-old Wolfhound mix with a personality as bright as her future. She's an outgoing and friendly young pup who loves nothing more than receiving pats and cuddles from her human friends. Her affectionate nature makes her a fantastic companion, with her adoring eyes melting hearts wherever she goes.
Evie is still growing, both physically and in her understanding of the world around her. While she tolerates a collar and lead, she does need some lead training and basic obedience to become the best dog she can be. Her youthful exuberance makes her a tad boisterous, especially around other dogs. While she is playful and energetic, she’s on a learning journey when it comes to proper socialization and sometimes needs reminders of good manners. She has been known to growl if jumped on by other dogs, so gentle supervision and guided introduction to new canine friends are recommended.
Despite her bouncy disposition, Evie's friendliness is undeniable, though she might playfully chase smaller animals or kids who run. With ongoing training and consistent positive experiences, she’s sure to blossom into a well-rounded dog.
Evie's ideal home would be with someone ready to invest time and energy into helping her grow. She's eager to learn and would thrive with a family willing to continue her training and provide plenty of socialization experiences.
Are you ready to embark on a rewarding journey with Evie by your side? This young Wolfhound mix is ready to bring happiness, joy, and a whole lot of love to her new family!

Adoption details
Our adoption process is easy. You will receive a application for the animals you are interested in. Please full that in and send it back to us.
Even though you may be first to message, this does not always guarantee you will be chosen to adopt. By no means do we run on a "first in, first served basis". We aim to ensure that our animals are adopted into the most suitable home for them and the new family.
With all our animals, we go on what our vet has told us and what we believe the breed and age to be. We never guarantee the breed or age but take the best educated guess.
Please note: Our shelter is located in the Snowy Mountains. We are a 5 hour drive from Sydney and Melbourne and 2 to 3 hours from Canberra.
